If you are not joining a diet meal plan or ordering pre packaged meals, make sure you don't shop when you're hungry whenever possible. You will be fooled into buying those items that you have been craving!

Avoid buying finger foods that are easy to grab and eat. It is so hard to just eat one. Avoid processed sugary snacks. Buy fruit!

Also if you have to go grocery shopping if at all possible don't bring hungry children.  Let's face it they are always hungry and want you to buy snacks.

A word about Pre-Packaged Meals.  This is one of the BEST ways to lose weight.  They will work for your IF you stick to the meals.  With a little extra exercise,  the excess pounds will start to come off.  Many of the pre packaged meals are ready in less than ten minutes and they taste very good.
